The Midnight Gang
David Walliams

When Tom arrives at the children´s ward in the Lord Funt Hospital , his days are boring and monotonous. But when the clock strikes midnight, as most children are fast asleep, the Midnight Gang´s journey begins. Every night, they make someone´s dream come true. This extraordinary story of five children just goes to show that "happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light" (-Albus Dumbledore).

I did enjoy this book, but I think that Walliams´ work is getting a bit too young for me (I´m 11). I was hoping for something a bit more advanced with this book, and was excited to read it, but was slightly disappointed. Also, for some reason his books always feel a bit samey...the plots are all completely different, but the way of righting is unique and hasn´t really sparked my imagination recently.
