 A century before, Hen is, for the first time in her life, being included in important changes. Her Aunt Kitty is opening up a world of animal rights, votes for women and riding bicycles! Torn between exploring this new world and behaving like a lady, Hen longs for freedom. 

 When Samira finds Hen’s diary, she has hope. She finds strength in herself that she didn’t know she had.  


This book gave me hope. It was great... I really enjoyed reading it. I would recommend this book to all girls whether you need the hope and strength this book gives you or not.
