She was taught at home by her ghost-nan, until she starts getting lonely and tries to convince her nan to go to school. Soon she enrols in the local school, but as she starts to make friends, she finds out that some people at her school have magic. Which is where the mystery begins...
This book was great, really well written. I loved how it transported me to a wonderful land of magic and fairy tales. I really loved the mystery that this book had, and how the story just unravelled. However, I did find the end a little confusing and a little abrupt. Apart from that, it was a pretty good book.
