When Richard Mayhew finds a bleeding girl on the pavement, his life is turned upside down. Literally. Because soon, he enters the world of London Below. The girl, whose name is Door, is on the run from two assassins. As if that wasn´t bad enough, Richard´s act of kindness has led him to a place with monsters, angels, a Beast in a labyrinth and an Earl who holds court in a Tube train...London Below. 

I know that giving a book an 8.75 is a bit confusing, but there´s a reason. It was an amazing book, so better than an 8 and 8.5. However, it was quite a dark book and it didn´t have a fixed ending, which annoyed me. I know that you can imagine an ending, but books come to life for me. So when the ending´s open, and you don´t know what happened to them, it just feels wrong to me. Apart from this, it is pretty much flawless. I really, really loved "Neverwhere". It was a really brilliant book, with a wonderful storyline.
