Emma Carroll
It was February 1941. A bomb blast... a chance encounter... her mother's coat... That is all Olive can remember the night her sister Sukie went missing. With London unsafe from the Germans, Olive and her little brother evacuated to Devonshire, to stay with a Lighthouse keeper.
Whilst she is there, she must solve the mystery of her own. Something to do
with linking Sukie to Devon, and to something dark, and impossibly dangerous.
I absolutely loved this book. It was one of the best books I have read recently, perfectly
written. I was actually really pleasantly surprised with this book. Originally, I thought that the reason that I had enjoyed it so much was because I was into World War Two, but I honestly think that anyone would like this book, whether you´re interested in history or not.
