Ben is very bored after he is made to stay at his grandma's house. She's the dullest granny ever, since all she wants to do is to play Scrabble and eat cabbage soup. But there are two things Ben doesn't know about his grandma. One: she´s an international jewel thief. Two: she´s been plotting to steal something...something only gangsters dream about stealing... the Crown Jewels!

One of David Walliams´ best books in my opinion. This book is so creative... and it just goes to show that not everything (and everyone!) is as it seems. Reminds me of the English saying "Never judge a book by its cover".

Anyway, this book was great. Walliams´ earlier books are my favourite...and this is one of them. It´s brilliant, and has a simple, understandable plot. Also, Ben is a very relatable character, and some of the things that end up happening are hilarous!
